Clomid and proviron at the same time

I decided to temporarily stop my self-prescribed TRT, and now I'm on clomid (50 mg a day until testosterone level is back to normal).

I want to take 25-50 mg proviron a day to inhibit my SHBG and free up more of the available testosterone SHBG binds to.

Is it safe to take proviron and clomid at the same time or could there be harmful substance interactions, hormonal problems, or something like that?

I tried it before going on diy trt. I'd been already taking daily low dose clomid (12.5mg) for several years, but several weeks after adding proviron, i started getting bad joint pains. Blood work showed my LH and FSH were still responding well to the clomid, but my testosterone had dropped to below 200 ng/dl. After more research, i did find a study showing that proviron causes damage at the testicular level, for the life of me i can't find that exact one again. Either way - i wouldn't recommend it.
