Did you notice any benefits from casein instead of whey? Is it actually useful or it doesn't really matter if you are on gear anyway?
 
I spent years taking in casein before i slept to keep a steady supply of amoinos, as that was the trend. I quit that long ago as science shows that when there is a certain threshold of amino's for your body turns on muscle production. So a slow stream seems to not be a real benefit anymore for muscle growth.
 
I use casein sporadically as a high protein dessert - sporadically due to cost, as it’s ridiculously expensive in the UK. I don’t think it has any particular benefit over whey, I just enjoy it as a dessert.

In terms of drinking protein, I find milk protein concentrate (80% casein / 20% whey) far easier on my digestive system than whey, which tends to bloat me more & gives me chronic farts, neither of which I get from MPC (or drinking actual milk). Again, no intrinsic benefit over whey other than digestion issues for me.
