Cardio on Leg Day

For those of you who have prepped for a contest and used fasted AM cardio, did you ever do cardio on leg day, even 3-4 weeks out?

I do fasted cardio, AM, most days (5-6 a week). Weight training is later after getting a couple of meals in. I have been avoiding cardio on leg day, but I am wondering whether I should go ahead and do cardio on leg day, too?

Thoughts?

Please don't answer unless you have competed (not trying to be offensive, but I want answers from folks who know what they are talking about on this question).

The only time I’d avoid is if your legs thin out with it, my flatten right out on stairs. But then again they come right back in peak week when I drop cardio.

Imo avoid if you have trouble holding leg size during prep

First prep for me, so I do not know the answer to that question. Maybe I'll try it but do less minutes than usual and see how it goes.

PS - I have sticks for legs as it is . . . I won't quite get laughed off the stage, but I will not have the biggest legs in the lineup.

I've done it, but I've also done little to no cardio as show draws nearer also. It depends on what condition you are in, I always liked to put in the bulk of the cardio far enough out that those last 3-4 wks I can just cruise in. At that point the cardio can actually be detrimental for me. If fat levels can still be dropped then don't let a mind fuck like cardio on same day as legs be an issue, just do it
