Hi There Folks

I have two BB comps a week apart. How do you keep your peak for the 2nd comp?

Can you carb and deplete in 6 days for the next contest?

What do you guys suggest and anybody had the same encounter.

Thanks

Chris

I once did 2 shows a week apart and I can tell you it's very difficult to peak properly for both of them.

If I were you, here's what I would do but you'll probably want to modify it to what you feel works best for you.

Sat - 1st show
eat whatever you want Sat night and eat moderately good all day Sunday.

Mon-Wed
eat only 50-60 grams of carbs each day. Cream of rice is a good source.
eat as much protein as you can from lean meat sources, including red meat ok. Try for 400 grams/day.
drink 2 gal's of water each day

Thu.
need stomach to start getting small so eat and drink exactly as above Mon-Wed except only eat enough meat to get up to 250 grams protein.
Also, your last water should be at 8pm Thu. night.
Then around 9-10pm, have some carbs, approx 40-50 grams from cream of rice. (you already had 50 grams throughout the day earlier)

Fri.
You drink zero water.
Your water comes from applesauce and cream of rice.
Eat approx 200 grams of carbs 2/3 from cream of rice and 1/3 from applesauce and 200 grams of protein from lean meat sources, spaced evenly throughout the day - 6 small meals starting around 7am and ending around 8pm.

Sat - 2nd show
breakfast 7:30am, 10 egg whites and 1/2 cup coffee (this is your only liquid).
depending on how flat or full you look:
flat = 4 ounces cream of rice
ok-good = 2 ounces cream of rice
smooth = 0 cream of rice and requires 30 minutes posing in warm/hot room.

You then nibble on apple sauce and yams - very small amounts - leading up to pre-judging. Drink 4 ounces of water with 2 table spoons of dextrose in it about 30 minutes before you go onstage. Start pump up about 10-15 minutes before going onstage, light pump up, don't pump up legs or arms, just back, shoulders and chest.

Good luck!

Damn Max, love reading your post! Good plan, I know it is very difficult to do 2 shows back to back and be very competitive in both. Follow what Maxrep has laid out here and it should go well. I love the water trade off with the applesauce!
