Either follow a specific program or better yet, contact an online powerlifting coach and let them program your weekly training for you and they'll likely aid in nutrition as well
 
For girls and these twinks you speak of it is. Most powerlifters subscribe to the KISS theory. All we need is a squat rack, a bench, and a barbell. I personally do calf raises sometimes on the leg press. I find that it uses more knee than squatting so in your case I would avoid it at all costs.
