The government of the People for the People! People Power Howard Dean! what a f'n clown. Howard the duck dean. Now i have 3 more emails from the bastards. shouldn't have replied the 1st time

I really do hope that Dean gets the Dems nomination. If that happens, there is absolutely no way in hell that he could ever beat bush head-to-head. He's an assclown of the highest order.

One loser already dropped out yesterday, and I anticipate that a few more will be done next Tuesday once Iowa shows who's really in the running. Sharpton will be gone, Leiberman will probably drop out soon after, Kucinich will be out, and Clark wont last much longer. Id love to see Dean get stomped in Iowa. I wouldnt vote for any of the candidates (Im an R), but at least I could stand to see someone like Gephardt in office. For a Dem, at least he seems to be a little more moderate than most of the rest of them.

IMO, thats the biggest problem with the Dems. Theyve gotten their butts kicked in the last two elections and now they think in order to win back seats (and the Presidency) that they have to move even further left of where they were before. It wont work. It will only attract the hardcore liberal voters, while in the meantime alienating the more moderate Dems. Until they realize that going more socialist will only serve to continue their loss of political power and seats in govt, they dont stand a chance against the Republicans. Particularly when the economy is rebounding (the idea that jobs arent coming back is a load of crap. Jobs have never lead any economic recovery.), we are making great strides in Iraq (caught one more of the top 55 guys the other day), and the Dow increased about 30% in 2003, while the NASDAQ was up about 50%.

Dont get me wrong, I dont agree with everything the Bush administration has done, but they do have my support and respect. IMO, they have one of the best cabinets ever with the likes of Colin Powell and Condi Rice. I can only imagine how screwed up things would be if Gore actually won in 2000.

bush pisses me off with some of his policies but it beats the alternative. If u get one of those emails let em have it. it was pretty funny that they actually took the time to respond to me. must not be that busy

The economy is definitely coming back. My mother works for Yellow trucking and they're getting pretty busy. Trucking is a great indicator of the economy. When people are buying lots of stuff, there comes a need to ship it, so trucking picks up. Obviously, then, the economy is on an upswing.

For once I kind of agree with Bob Smith about something political! I hope for the sake of the democratic party that Dean doesn't get the nomination. He is an assclown. It seems that Bush's cabinet would be great, but Powell and others seem to be butting heads a little bit with Bush so their effectiveness is limited. I can't stand Bush, or most of his policies, but I would vote for him over assclown Dean, and that is saying a lot~Sensational

I'm just sad that there isn't going to be anyone worth voting for in this election.....

LOL!

Sensational, glad to see you coming around to the right side. ;)

Grizzly made an excellent point about the trucking/shipping industry. Tangentally related, corporate inventories rise during down economic periods and decrease during expansions. Over the past year or so, inventories have been steadily declining. It takes a while for that to happen, but once it does, factory people (and by extension, a lot of other workers - truckers, retail, marketing, etc) will be going back to work in order to produce more goods. The Dems know this, but obviously dont want to point it out. They keep pointing to how jobs havent been created, blah blah blah. No crap! Job growth doesnt come before the expansion, it follows it. Just like job loss normally comes after the beginning of a downturn. Im sure both parties use similar tactics of playing on the ignorance of the masses (insert arguements for welfare, social security, etc), even when they know they are completely and totally wrong (read: lying).
