Bush-Kerry debate

Tonights debate succeeded in doing something I never thought possible. It has united Americans of all political stripes behind one proposition the firm conclusion that the guy moderating this debate is a complete and utter jackass.

Is there anyone left who still believes Bush can pull this one out? His administration is kaput.

Sorry Phreezer, I couldnt resist.

Charlie Gibson? Wasn't he the moderator?

I thought the debate was decent but it didn't do much to make me believe in the canidates. My vote is for Kerry, but I decided my vote against Bush years ago.

bad polling IMO

they need not to take ALL registered democrats opinions

obviously bias

need a third party to take the results blindly to really know the outcome

MOST everyone has already decided who they are voting for thats...if they grab more dems in the polls then obvious kerry would pull away with the debate if they grab more repubs then obviously it would favor bush

all in all i wouldnt look twice at those results

BTW keep in mind the error in that pole...im sure its probably around 10% or more...which is basically saying dont look at me

I'm voting for bush guys. How can you vote for a guy with absolutly no stance such as kerry. He does WHATEVER makes you guys happy. That is not a leader. Example:
Question "Mr. President what is your stance on gay marriages?"
Answer Bush: Fuck all them gays, a marriage is between a woman and a man.
Answer Kerry: Blah Blah Blah Blah.... for like 30min and you don't have a clue as to what he believes.

People you may not like what bush believes, I know I don't on alot of subjects, but you must admire someone who does not bend to make people like him. That is a leader.

good post
you stated what i have stated many times before

you have to respect bush whether or not you like his policies or not. why you ask? because he stands by them and most people, i know i do, can respect a man who stands beside what he believes in.

now you say,...well kerry believes in something doesnt he? let me refer you to this.... kerry i voted for the 87 billion bill that provides armor for our troops before i voted against it... What the fuck does that mean?

I vote for Kerry for several reasons. Here are some of them:

I believe gay marriages should be legal.
I believe partial birth abortion should be legal.
I believe in stem cell research of all kinds.

I don't like Pres. Bush's ways on International Relations.
I don't think Pres. Bush has handled Iraq as well as it could have.

There are others but those are just a few.

Yea, but does kerry really believe those things?? I'm not so sure. I think he says alot of that shit, cause it's what you guys want to hear. It's the majority side, it's the easy way to win as I say it. Kerry says whatever makes the majority happy. BTW I'm with you on point 1 and 3, but I'm not voting for kerry.

I agree, I don't know if Kerry fully believes in them or not but I do know that Bush doesn't. So I'd rather gamble with Kerry, at least there's a chance, with Bush I don't think there is much of any.

well

he raised some good questions

One thing I dont agree with Bush is about stem cell research if it saves lifes and has no repercussions

I agree with him about gay marriages and how it should only be between and man and woman. Think about this. If we allow man and man to marry. Whats to stop the next movement of multiple people being married. Next youll see three or four men getting married. You see my point? I mean its a fucking snowball situation rolling down a mountain building its force. [Insert sarcasm] pretty soon Ill be able to marry my fucking dog and cheat on her with my cat [End sarcasm]

And I can also agree with him on the abortion situation

Kerry has no convictions and doesnt stand by his beliefs...wait he has no beliefs...he believes what the majority wants him too

Here is the problem with "snapshot" polls: they are not scientific and are NOT random at all.

Today on the radio, they read e-mails that were sent by the DNC to all of the constituents on their list saying basically "make sure you flood the online polls following the debate and vote for Kerry. People are influenced by these polls a few days later...." And then it linked them to about a dozen different polls.

The media outlets do these things to give them something to talk about for a few hours each night.

ok....I respect the mods and I agree flaming was getting out of control on the political threads. I saw not one flame in this thread! So, if you dont like to read political opinions, do NOT read the thread. It just so happens that it is election time and this subject is on people's minds. Dont tell people their opinions are irrelevent because if they were, people wouldnt be conversing about the subject. there is no rule against starting political threads, just a rule against the flaming.

if you dont like it, dont read it....

I agree with instock, how can you trust a prick like kerry, This cock sucker changes his mind way to often, and you cant lead a country like that, he is not sure what he beleives in, I think he is relying on what everyone else beleives in.
