Bloating

Stupid question.

Kind of reaching unfamiliar territory with where I’ve gotten to as far as growth and building.

Over the course of 15 years, I’ve gone from 125 to 227 (6’). I’d say currently 12% BF.

My issue is trying to continue to grow but keeping bloat down. There are days it’s ridiculous, and look pregnant. Diet is relatively clean, drink only water, e2 in check, take daily probiotics.

Is this what just comes with being in a constant surplus, and only cutting with clean things up. Or am I missing the obvious.
 
- It's normal for your stomach to be extended if there is a lot of food inside of it; food doesn't just magically disappear after you chew it
- Keep your surplus reasonable (under 500, 300 is even better)
- Stay away from foods that don't sit right in your stomach (e.g. if oatmeal takes ages to digest, drop it in favor of something that moves faster, etc.)
- If using HGH, make sure to titrate up SLOWLY.
- Fiber is great, but there is such a thing as too much fiber
- Limit artificial sweeteners
- Space your meals out; you don't really need to eat every 2 hours (basically shoving food on top of food)
- Make sure you keep inflammation down in general
- Do cardio daily, Z2 is the minimum (great for digestion and metabolic health)
- Keep active, walk a bit (10-15 minutes) after every meal, it's good for digestion and BG.

Having said all of that, a little bit of bloat is inevitable; embrace it.

You're not missing anything obvious in that diet most certainly contributes to this (maybe some combination of gas bloating and constipation).

Hopefully it's a specific food or foods in which case an elimination diet or low FODMAP diet & log book could help.

As far as the 'biome is concerned, check out Bimuno. It's a prebiotic available on Amazon. If you try it, definitely don't take the entire sachet; do like 1/4 tps to start. This should help keep things moving.

There is probably some part of this that is just part of the bulking process and may be unavoidable for some, but we can try to minimize it.

You might have sibo or some other microbiome issue ...
