Blending up my meals

some people have said more gear = less appetite, i thought this was referring to orals but I think its just true for gear in general.

So I'm going to blend up my chicken and rice and I'm looking for suggestions to make it more palatable.

Or a better carb source than rice to blend up.

or something better than water to thin it out, just has to be low sodium

You are hardcore my brother. You could make a "monster mash" with ground chicken and rice and add low sodium chicken broth.
 
Ugh been down this road. The answer is you can't make that taste good ever, and you cannot thin it out with anything other then water really. Extra salt can hide it a little, or some applesauce can kind of disguise it lol. Used to use blended chicken breast and cream of rice as my in between meals (shakes) so I was eating 3 meals and basically drinking two meals. It works for sure. But it was gross no matter what I did lol. After a year I gave up and decided I would just weigh 205 instead of 225 lmao. Gear, stress, orals, anything really can effect my appetite unfortunately so I hear you on that. But I will say it certainly works, drinking meals that is. I was alot bigger and stronger. If you can handle the grind of pounding those shakes it will equal gains. Another problem is cream of rice is fortified with extra iron. So I actually think using regular white rice like you are would be better.
 
I never knew appetite was needed to chew and swallow food. Just like i never had a desire to go to work a day in my life. I just did what was needed to accomplish my goals. Chewing and producing saliva, which aids in digestion, is the start of the digestion process. Skipping over that may negate some of the benifits one thinks they are getting from blending everything.
 
It certainly does however my job also didn't give me two extra breaks and at the end of the day bodybuilding was just a hobby. Never paid the bills. When you have a lack of appetite eating fast is really tough. However I was reading through this forum and just found out about rice and grind cream of rice. No iron. That's great to mix with a shake or two!!! alot of gold in this forum for sure. Drinking meals is never as good as eating them. But it is better then going with no meal I know that.
