Big thanks to Perrin Aybara and RodgerThat!

With all the trolls, shills and just straight up dick head behavior that happens daily around here, I just wanted to point out there are some damn good folks on here as well! A coupe months ago I reached out to @Perrin Aybara and @RodgerThat for some pointers. I was interested in doing a meet and had no idea how to prepare the last couple of weeks! I was seeking basic simple answers like when to cut out accessory lifts and what not! Well, these two went out of their way and came up with a complete 6 wk program leading up to my meet. These guys don't know me as I am far from a WKM, but they went above and beyond what I ask of them and helped me in a huge way! So thanks guys! And to all you other guys just remember, when you see all these keyboard warriors in pissing matches, that's not all that goes on around here. There are some damn good, helpful people around here!

It was a pleasure working with you. I'll be glad to help with the next one if you need it, too. Hopefully the prep is injury free and the judges make better calls next time though, haha.
Injury free is the key at my age! The calls were disheartening but I'm over that! I still ripped 550 up twice, so whether it counted or not, I know I'm getting stronger and I'm now in love with powerlifting! I never expected it to be so fun and so intense! As long as I can lift I will be competing. The adrenaline rush was like no drug I've ever done, and unfortunately I did a lot of those in my 46 years!

I don't know what you guys are talking about... always thought Rodger is kind of an asshole. Perrin is okay.. sometimes.

:)

In all seriousness, I couldn't hit the post button without saying I'm happy to see both of them on the board because they are passionate members who have a lot to offer. Perrin in particular, I'm pleased to call a friend despite not meeting in person yet. I've followed all of Rodger's logs since I joined meso and will continue to do so... I've even got noisemakers ready for when he breaks down and starts another cycle. :D

I appreciate the kind words. Like @RodgerThat said it's a pay it forward system. I've been helped out by quite a few members here in a lot of ways and also just from being a member myself. Glad to be a part of this community for real.
I try to pay it forward from what I've learned through the years and what @Perrin Aybara and @RodgerThat have taught me. I'm.definitely glad to be in this community.

I can't say it enough. I spent most of my time in the drama filled underground. Got me no where fast. Then I ventured out and met guys like @Perrin Aybara @RodgerThat @theprodgicalson. And for those I left that offered some advice and knowledge, thank. I greatly appreciate it.

Literally just found this love fest of a thread lol. Two of the best guys Meso has to offer right there, RT & PA!

The group we have is solid and getting stronger all the time.
It's a testament to the family the the power lifting group is here and you two are like our parents. One question though... who's daddy?

I can't take credit. @Docd187123 is the real father of powerlifting here. @insertnamehere as well.
