Best Syringe size

Greetings ,
Okay here we go stupid question time. I was currently using a 1 ml barrel with a 27 gauge needle and had no problems. Now I put my big boy pants on and I'm using a 3 mil barrel pushing 300 mgs and now the oil won't come out, LOL.
So I changed the needle to an 18 gauge and it worked well but the 18 gauge is like a freaking harpoon. So I was going to shoot for a 21 gauge what does everybody else using?

Bigger syringes require more pressure. Heat the oil with a coffee cup warmer before you draw it. It will inject super easy.

You shot with an 18g? That’s what was used to take down Moby Dick. Good for drawing oil, but not injecting. Even a 21g isn’t necessary, or 23g for that matter, but I know they get their use from some.

Bf% should be a factor in determining length needed to hit a muscle during injection, as well as location.

I really like 25g 1” for VG and DG, and usually 25g 5/8” for my delts and occasionally lats. I could probably knock that down 1/2” pins, but 5/8” is just what I have right now.

But yes, as mentioned previously when you need a 3ml barrel for injections, it’s tough to put enough pressure with those smaller needles.

Yeaaaah, no shit, worked well, but I couldn't imagine that being a way of life.
Gonna try the 25 and a little heat..

Ha,ha nope, with the 18 just a matter of time before I hit a nerve and have drooping face syndrome . Was pushing that on my glute with the 3mil and the 27, seriously thought the needle was going to break off.

If 27s worked for you, that is probably best. The smaller the needle, the less scar tissue you will get. But when you start using more oil and have to use a bigger syringe like a 3ml, 25s are perfect and push easily with test cyp in mct oil even without heating. The type of oil you are using will determine the needle size, but avoiding scar tissue is the goal
 
Nipro has a thin wall 27g needle that I use, with a bit of pressure, on 3ml syringes. It will help to warm the oil on a candle/mug warmer.

You can also easily use a Nipro 30g thin wall needle with a 1ml syringe.

A 27g is approximately 2x the size of a 30g needle, so it is actually beneficial to use the 27g needle for 3x the injection volume vs using 30g 3x.
 
Deep IM 25g 1.5" for glutes, 1" everywhere else (1-3mL Luer Lock)

Shallow IM 27g 5/8" insulin syringe

Every degenerate steroid abuser should have an Amazon special electric mug warmer for warming oils. It's basically impossible to push oil through 27g or smaller using a luer lock style syringe without warming it first unless the oil is super thin. I warm the bare vial to 145 degrees and you can push oil through a 31g insulin needle if you want to
 
My go to is 25g 1" 3cc needles

Warm the oil up before injecting and it'll help, dont microwave it for a minute then inject it trust me lol
