I would say lats need to be worked on. Seems to be harder for most to get then upper back as they really don't pull with their lats. Can't say i have ever seen anyone with to big of lats. Big traps can make people look slope shouldered and makes their shoulders look narrower.
I mostly agree with what you saying but the majority of guys with huge traps i believe they have short clavicles. It's a huge genetic key for your overall physique. Short clavicles equals massive traps, full chest etc but limited lat and shoulder width. I have short clavicles and big traps and i wish i had long clavicles to make my V taper bigger.
Never thought of this but I can vouch for it. I’m the opposite- I have long clavicles. I have broad shoulders and a decent v shape.
On the downside my chest and traps are weak points for sure.
There is much to be said about what you wrote. But a person can't do anything about there structure. I am 5"6" and have a shoulder width that is about what guys a foot taller then me have. But once my traps got to a certain size i quit training them as i did not think bigger was better. The chiropractor i go to who was the team chiro for an NFL team for many years just pats my traps and says they don't make them like this any more. Mine were very thick but attached lower on the neck so i didn't have the rounded slope shouldered look even though they were good size.I mostly agree with what you saying but the majority of guys with huge traps i believe they have short clavicles.
