I only have a minute, so I'll make it quick. This whole congressional panel on AS thing; are you all as confused as I am? Since when is baseball any of Congress' business? Since when are they an arm of law enforcement?

Does the fact that these discrepencies are being completely overlooked by society at large indicate another step towards the institution of a totalitarian government? I mean, this has gone even further than helmet, seatbelt and drug laws.

I've thought the same thing GRizz and it makes me sick. And I'm not just saying that because I've dabbled in AAS use in my former lifetime, or because I'm educated on the subject at hand; but rather because everything the government touches turns to shit. And the American people let the government get away with it. The government, be they republicans or democrats, have convinced the majority of the public that the public "needs the government to take care of them and make sure everything is warm and fuzzy". Likewise, the American public, as usual, is uneducated on most subjects and believe everything that Dan Rather says; so by default they accept the strong arm of the government and question nothing.

The same goes for the Terry Schiavo case. Why does Congress feel the need to determine this womans fate. Since when does the government determine the value of life and dictate who lives and who dies (obviously the answer to that is war and the death penalty, but those are extraordinary cases that do not apply here). It's too bad that this woman is not coherent enough to make her own decision; and it's sad that her husband and her parents have to watch her fate on national TV everyday while some fucking politician, who couldn't care less about this woman but needs to appear sympathetic on CNN, prances around and tells all of us what is best for her.

We need a fucking full-blown revolution in this country to check the government. That is why we have the 2nd amendment. Thomas Jefferson said it best: "The beauty of the 2nd amendment is that you will never need it until the government tries to take it."

Furthermore, why are 250,000,000 Americans so fucking interested in what everyone else is doing?? I don't give a flying fuck in Bonds shoots 5g of test ED and gets D-cup titties....that in no way, shape, or form effects my life and existence on this planet. I have my own problems to worry about and I don't have enough time to worry about everyone else's actions.

well, they've fucked up govt enough it's time to move on to ruining sports. Next, Mccain will introduce legislation that Movies should be rated by congress.

Yeah, that Terry Schiavo thing is pissing me off, too. It all pisses me off! LOL I'm glad someone besides me thinks a legitimate revolution is a good idea. However, could a revolution work? I mean, aside from the greater military might of the gov't compared to the people(it worked the first time around, though).

If we had a revolution, the country would be in turmoil for probably 5 years minimum. Do you think that foreign entities would try and conquer the US at it's weak point?

I don't think so. In fact, I think foreign entities would try to help supply the people so that we would overthrow the very government they despise yet yearn to be like. However, I don't think the US citizens will ever be ruled by a foreign entity either.
