Hi

Old guy here (46) have been working out on and off since I was in my 20s and dealt with a few medical issues for the past 10 years and finally just got everything in order to get back in shape. Have been going to the gym for about 2 years now.

Medical issues are hypothyroidism and arthritis. The thyroid was the first to go, presented like carpal tunnel and then ballooned me up to a painful weight. I've lost more than 100lbs now and really in the best shape of my life. Now learning that I may have had hormone imbalances my entire life.

As far as AAS are concerned, not in a hurry to jump on them, but looking to speed up things as I dont want to spend 10 years just getting to where I want to be in my late 50's. So researching as much as I can to try and do things as smart as possible while making dumb decisions.

Currently tested test as I'm not currently on it, but hypothyroid and low t have a lot of overlapping symptoms so tested that. Currently at 582 natty. liver and kidney bloodwork all look great, I'm getting tested every 3 months by each of 2 specialists (endo and rheum) So very much on top of bloods and nutrition and currently working out 4x a week with daily fasted cardio.

Hoping to learn and do what I can to make smarter, well at least more informed choices as I go down this path.

Edit: forgot to add currently on peps to boost things naturally. GHRH and HCG monotherapy for now; started HCG *after* baseline test levels. Will be going for more bloodwork in about a month to see where these are putting me.

I experience hypothyroid from arthritus as well. I take synthyroid for it by script. Im also hypogonadal so my total t was 123 so i gopped on test. As far as anything to enhance your gains or speed them up is gunna be mostly aas. You can do sarms but they fuck you up too and most suppress your own hormones anyways. HGH is an option. if you wanted to lose more weight you could do a glp1. Other then that there isnt alot you can use as a PED thats non homronal for the most part. 5mg cialis a day can help with circulation and help with pumps in the gym.

Congrats on the weight loss

I'd outsource thyroid management to an endocrinologist

Since you're not hypogonadal - stick around, there are a lot of people here that do TRT & TRT+ on their own. And everyone will have an opinion on how you should get started, so consider trying to find a consensus and then seeing what works best for you. Frequent blood testing is encouraged.

And, welcome to Meso

Thank you!

I get bloodwork done every 2-3 months from both the endochrinologist and rheumatolgist. For the other work, i already have a plan to get bloodwork to check cycle pertinent markers once I start every 10-12 weeks unless the cycle demands otherwise.

Funny enough, I did find a TRT clinic that said I qualify for treatment. I've heard rumor that their cutoff is like 600. They also do a cookiecutter approach and starting dose is 200mg/week.

That being said, I'm well aware that UGL is far cheaper and already have a few sources lined up on that front :)

First congrats on the weight loss and I have to say it's always inspirational to see someone who overcame obstacles to their fitness journey.

Also you're taking the time to make an important decision as TRT is for life which is very smart.
