I have been on a kind of TRT for about 3-4 years. At first with a doctor for almost 2 years, then on my own. Always with testosterone and anastrozole only.
I reacted quite well to testosterone but at first I aromatized a lot and the doctor gave me a lot of AI at the begining. Over time and on my own I have been lowering the amount of AI (also noticed I started to aromatized less) and I have never really had a problem with this (meaning never a problem or "surprise" with AI).
To give you an idea with 125mg of testosterone weekly (in a single application) I reached about 1500 (range 200-800), and the AIs that I had been using lately is 2mg of anastrozole (pharmaceutical) per week divided into 1mg Monday and Thursday. In those doses (of testosterone and Anastrozole) I have been for more or less two years always without stopping, with quite good results (within the modest dose of testosterone).
But for the last 3-4 weeks I have felt strange (wird), it is something very mild and subtle, like a slight visual dizziness, but it does not become dizziness, it is so difficult to explain.., I do not have a headache either, but I feel like " if I am about to have it soon ", sometimes my pressure has risen but very slightly, still within the normal ranges, but hardly more than where I usually have it.
At first I thought it could be the hematocrit since I usually have it on the edge or slightly past, but the dr (hematologist) I consult every now and then has always recommended that I not do lobotomies because he considers them to have bad consequences in the long run, but TO MY SURPRISE I have just tested my hematocrit and hemoglobin and is better than usual.
With that dose of Anastrozole my reading of E2 is about 15-17.
The only change has been, but not this month if not for about half a year now, the brand of anastrozole, which I have noticed is slightly more powerful, since normally with the same dose before my reading used to be 25, but what happens to me (this wird feeling) is barely since a month ago and this I have already changed 1/2 year or so ago.
I still don't have the EXACT current AI measurement as I write this now.
My attention, reasoning, actions are in order but as in the middle of a fog. I do a highly sophisticated job and I have no problem doing it although I have to try a little harder when i´m affected by this "fog", but the result is not altered. Again, it is not all day, just at times (but everyday) and there doesn´t seem to be a clear reason why starts to or stops...(!!???')
I have visited the otolaryngologist, also the eye doctor, and I have had tests done with them in their special fields and they tell me that everything is very fine. Now I was going to go to the hematologist and then the last thing I imagine is going to the neurologist.
Sorry for the extension and my English, which is not my language. It is difficult for me to explain it and I also tried to put all the relevant information.
Impressions? could be something else, what? THANKS!
