Anabolic vs Androgenic

What is the difference between these to terms and their coresponding steroid types. I think I understand that anabolic causes you to grow where as androgenic causes you to become a man, so to speak. If this is correct then why would anyone who is already a man want to take anthing that was highly androgenic?

highly anabolic drugs, favor anabolism and anti catabolism....and tend to be more mild as far as secondary sexual characteristics go....this is why women usually use the anabolics instead of the androgens.....however the term is a misnomer as the androgens are definitely the better anabolics, especially those that aromatize....anabolism cant be seperated from the androgenous effects...hence the reason primo and var dont reall make you gain a shit load of weight like test and dbol

also keep in mind,ALL ANABOLICS have some androgenic activity. primo,winstrol,anavar,and deca all have some androgens.
the term is based on a ratio.
