Am I doing too much cardio?

Hi I've been working as a bike courier for jimmy johns. Biking 2 or so hours 5 x a week. I have not been losing any muscle but I have gained 4lbs most likely on my legs. I used to breathe like a horse going up hills but now I can shoot up any hill without raising my heart rate significantly.

Is having good cardio like this a good or bad thing in terms of muscle gain. I have noticed I gain a lot slower now. I'm not using any gear.
 
I used to ride alot, 10 miles a day at least, thats 300 miles a month, over 3,000 a year. Best shape i was ever in. Awesome definition in my thighs. Hills are fun, what goes up must come down. Spedometer said like 40 mph on one downslope, talk about a ride.
 
Better blood flow, delivery of nutrients, more oxygen in your cells, and better lactic acid buffering.

You're headed in a direction. Is it the right one? Well you aren't using any gear so... no.
Get juiced out, go win the GABR, and tell your boss it's time for a RAISE!
 
I ride more then that just for fun .Cardio makes the body conditioned giving it a better overall look ..It's healthy too
