I do cycling specifically MTB, i have do not.have really huge issues but.i have alergy to pollen and other spring things, for example i have eyes and throat itch and like i have a mild cold with the nose
I train a lot on the road so at least i dont get in contact with grass or other thing that irritate my skin like crazy
There is something that help with it, actually works and dont damage performance/make me too sleepy?
I dont think that really hurt the breathing capacity in a significant way but in some days (rarely)happened
If someone have some tip thanks in advance

Nasal flushes (I hate them) - saline rinses multiple times per day.

Inhaled steroid sprays - Fluticasone, there are some other meds from PCT 24x7 if you want me to look and suggest some.

Cetirizine and Levocetirizine...probably some newer generation antihistamines that do not tend to cross the blood brain barrier as much (so not likely to cause drowsiness). I cannot speak directly to elite performance.

Montelukast would probably also help (another med you can probably get from one of the PCT sites).

Allergy testing and allergy shots - would help and not likely affect performance.

Bilastine

Msg PCT 24x7 and ask for Bilashine 40mg. its like 2-3$/10tabs.

Cetirizine, Levocetirizine, Fexofenadine are all drowsy meds, it's just less drowsy relative to others.

Interesting...never heard of that one

Figured there were newer antihistamines out there. I'm gonna look into that one.

Cetirizine and fluticasone propionate spray aka Zyrtec and Flonase are a solid combo that have kept my allergies in check with no discernible side effects. Costco sells both generics cheap.
