Adding BA before heating

For one of my brews I had added the BA prior to heating to around 85-95c which concerned me because I had read something after about BA cooking off or converting to another compound that was poisonous, I believe called benzaldehyde. The solution was about 100ml with the oil/ba/bb + hormone combined when I heated it. Does the BA being in the mixture raise its boiling point/cook temp due to the oil mixture? Is there any validity behind saying the BA getting to hot can be toxic in the oil?

Since learning this I now add the BA after the oil is starting to cool but I do wonder if I should continue to use the batch or throw it out.

Benzyl Alcohol:
Flash point 194°F (90°C)
Boiling point 401°F (205°C).
But idk about the relationship with vapor from flash point staying in solution...
