Used chatgpt to summarize my situation, forgive me. I´m 31, first stepped foot in the gym at 14 and loved it. Gotten very hard to train consistently gradually over the last 5 years.

Exercise / recovery symptoms (present ~4–5 years):
I think i need TRT. Trouble is that in my EU country, this fucking clown show is either testosterone gel applied every day with inconsistent absorbtion that might bring me to moderate range with perfect compliance and real problems of rubbing off on pets/partner, or 4ml deep IM nebido injection with test undeconate every 10-14 weeks. No other options. TRT clinics in EU won´t help me with Test E or Test P because of import rules. Nervous about UGL stuff and got ripped off once, learned my lesson there i need a vetted reliable domestic source if anything.

- Free testosterone: ~0.28–0.30 nmol/L (bottom ~10–15% for adult men)
- SHBG: low (~14.5 nmol/L)
- LH / FSH: low-normal (suggestive of secondary / functional hypogonadism)
- Metabolic markers: insulin resistance, high triglycerides, high LDL/ApoB
- Ferritin elevated, vitamin D suboptimal, B12/folate on the low side
- Cortisol and CRP not elevated → doesn’t look like an acute stress fluke
Exercise / recovery symptoms (present ~4–5 years):
- Can train during sessions (motivation and performance OK)
- Delayed crashes after training (24–72h, sometimes longer)
- Gym work and BJJ (especially anything that causes soreness) are the worst triggers
- Soreness lasts far too long (sometimes 7+ days from bodyweight work)
- Exercise reliably makes me worse; rest reliably makes me better
- Crashes have two phases:
- 3–5 days of heat, wired/tired, poor sleep, overwhelm. Sometimes i push through here.
- weeks of being mentally OK but physically smashed
- Progress was always fragile and dependent on perfect conditions
- Over time I reduced volume/intensity (even HIT / 1 set workouts) and still collapsed
- This pattern existed even years ago when metabolic health was better
