MESO "Specialized" Testing Group Fund

MCT oil does not turn up as MCT oil in GCMS.
Alot of products in GCMS are not so straight forward to interpret.

Jano requested i send in a plastic (polystyrene) sample (he mentioned in his thread when i asked about it) and i so just did as he requested.

Yes the spectra is not present in all the other vendor testing we previously did.
Only vials suspected thus far are from a single vendor.

I have emailed Jano to see how we can move from suspected->confirmed, but if it's too much work I'll just move on and call it a day. At this point i've already invested a little too much more time than i would have liked, for gear from a vendor i've decided not to use going forward.
We reviewed spectra together against the NIST spectra. AutoID appears correct for the plastic-associated peak that was also flagged in the TRE400 samples.

Thanks for the clarification

antioxidant or anti-yellowing additive that leached from the polystyrene.

Confirmed in (1) the BB sample where you soaked the PS piece in as well as (2) the TRE400 samples.

The common denominator is the polystyrene funnel for bottle top filtration and high BB content?

If there is soluble polystyrene in those samples we have no way of knowing as it doesn't appear the PS will thermally depolymerize at 350 deg C as we discussed. If no styrene monomer then no trace on the GC. Would need GPC or another method to pick up polymer.

Great project that was fronted by @Photon and paid for by @Primal_Pharma. No group testing funds were used.

Thanks for sharing the results in this thread photon.

Burn the vial to the ground?

GPC. See my edits. Seriously, follow the advice you gave me. Most here dont give a shit. Go live your life. Dont waste anymore of your time.

If you showed there was 50% soluble plastic in your TRE400 vials these MFers would still argue with you and do the fuckery they do best.

I wish it was just a sickness but we know what it is really about: $$$

Sorry newb questions, but in the term "MCT BB BA", what do the "BB" and the "BA" stand for? Also, is the concern with plastics contamination limited to only Tren with MCT from the one domestic vendor? Or only products with MCT but not GSO? thanks!

hello.

every vial brewed with a bottletop filter for now is confirmed we can assume, dont know if other compounds degrade the same way as tren, and its best to assume every oil.

for terms they're just terms for oils in the oil the vial.

BA - Benzyl Alcohol, BB - Benzyl Benzoate

Benzyl Alcohol and Benzyl Benzoate. BA is for sterility. BB is a solvent. The plastics issue is so far only suspected in Primal’s Tren E 400.

Is this because the other products (so far) haven't been specifically tested for the possible plastic contaminant? Or would that suspicious peak have shown up already in standard Jano tests of the other products?

Lack of testing.
No testing no problems perfect gear.

If vendors only pay for mg/ml testing then all you get is mg/ml results.
Nothing else.

Hasn't shown up in other GCMS reports, so maybe not

That's what I mean -- didn't the original "suspicious plastic peak" show up in a standard GCMS report? Nobody was specifically looking for it?

And the running theory is that the oil in the vial reacts with the rubber self-healing membrane of the vial and causes microplastics/nanoplastics to leech into the oil? And this is because the membrane is made of a material that shouldn't be used with oils but is ok for water-soluble things like peptides?

Who's theory is this.
Nothing to do with the vials bro.
If you're interested all the info has been shared in the thread.
