First time brewing - Test E

I'm about to try my first homebrew, of Test E. I bought a small pack of raws from QSC last year, and their testing was from December 2023. I went to open up the pack and this is what it looked like:


Is it likely still safe to use?

My plan was:
* Volume: 100mL
* Concentration: 250mg/mL
* BA: 1.5%
* BB: 15%
* Carrier: USP grade MCT oil (60/40, Caprylic-C8/Capric-C10).

that looks off to me, oxidized. Id expect a high chance of bad PIP.

Try a smal batch and report back.

It's a high chance of bad pip either way with test e.
Give it a try if you want to exercise homebrew if not get other ester raws.

But this is how it looks when test e or deca raws melts. Nothing unusual. Became yellow, brownish like a soap. Have used deca raws that melted without issue

Toss. Pip no matter what concentration you use. Hope you got it for the standard test e price

Raising the Standard​

The purpose of this thread is to present a comprehensive, reproducible, lab-grade method for purifying steroid raws prior to conversion. This is not a replacement for quality manufacturing..
this is a corrective technique to deal with substandard materials when no other option is available.


We must be clear: this is not an excuse for manufacturers to cut corners. This is a stopgap solution that allows individual compounders and responsible middlemen to clean up contaminated or adulterated product until true GMP-level practices are...

Here's what I would do I would send some to Jano , then go from there. Do it right if you respect your body and your health. Test your raw.

At least the seal wasn’t compromised.

You can tell from the way it’s swollen with decomposition gas like a body bag that’s been left in the sun for a week.

Looks perfectly fine… Test E, EQ, Sustanon and Deca all have low melting points and can look like sludge at times. EQ is actually liquid at room temperature.

Try to give it a water bath until it’s fully melted. That way it’ll make it easier to measure and get all the contents out of the bag. You could probably just pop it in a pot of hot water and bring it to a light boil until it’s fully dissolved. Then pour out into a beaker to measure.

Hi, in my opinion it's unusable... ugly color... it should be white... it's been too long.From my experience, as soon as the powder arrives, it should be converted within a few weeks...Throw it all away for your own health.Bye

As far as I know, Test E already starts slowly melting @ 33℃

I decided to go ahead and brew this stuff. The finished oil is about the same yellowish color as my QSC Test E oil. I pinned a little to check for PIP, and if it's not bad I'll send a sample to jano.

It was a sticky mess and I pretty much gave up on recovering the rest of the baggie for later use, so I'll only get the one batch out of it.

Im a synthetic organic/inorganic chemist by education and trade. Since im new on meso, i will offer my expertise if wanted. I really like recrystallization. The companies ive worked for (the last one is a trillion dollar company- thats with a T) have made millions on the stuff i purified with a simple recrystallization. Fun stuff.
