I know people love to give shit in this thread for the nerding out, sometimes warranted sometimes not, but I really have once again learned so much damn info today on the importance of filtering and reviling for long, long term storage. Thank you to the main contributors @Photon and @readalot
The importance of stoppers and all relevant info especially when the issues immediately prevalent. Keeps the sources accountable and pushes them to produce higher quality gear and clear the air. I don’t mind paying a few extra bucks for quality shit I’ll say that again until I’m blue in the face. If a few extra dollars per vial breaks your bank account shit you’re in the wrong fucking hobby and gear clearly isn’t the only thing you’re cheaping out on.
My wallet is loyal to the best producer of gear at that moment.

This is the macro debate.
You have guys who push for better standards, meeting “pharma grade”, for reassurance and quality .
And others who don’t give a shit because “you should filter regardless of who you’re buying from. I’ve filtered my gear for 34 years”.
Personally. If I feel like I need to filter my gear, you should not be brewing.

Im all about convenience and doing it right. I will gladly pay extra for precision, quality assurance and speed of service. If product gets too expensive for me I just shouldn't buy it. If I was looking for cheap price cheap quality id get gear from the guy operating the glory hole at the gym.
