Ok, I realize the question may sound stupid... but could somebody help me/point me on how to pay those vendors using USDT? I've always paid through bank transfer, but now it seems nobody is accepting it anymore. I google how to do it, but there's so much info out there. For example, are there apps that make it easier, are there differences in price, quote etc? If anybody could make the process easier for the oldie here I'd really thank you...

P.S.: is Bitpay decent?

Install a software wallet like Metamask on your browser. Send fiat to an onramp like Coinbase and buy USDT ERC20. Send the USDT ERC20 from Coinbase to your software wallet. Then send the USDT from your software wallet to the vendor. When the transaction completes, you'll have a transaction ID or hash that you will send to the vendor as proof of purchase. Some vendors also require a screenshot of your software wallet showing you the transaction is complete.

The key is to never send crypto to a vendor directly from your onramp account be it Coinbase, BinanceUS or other such platform. Those platforms have a tendency to watch for questionable transfers based on their own information, information from the government, or at the request of their banking partners. People have had their accounts frozen and/or forcibly closed when trying to send crypto directly to vendors. Play it safe and send your crypto to a software wallet before sending it on to the vendor.

I know a number of us have done write-ups here and some have included Youtube videos showing how the process works nearly every step along the way.

They got spicy when I changed my order from CN to US warehouse, and said due to price change I need to wait another few days for crypto hold. lol

BTC is so much easier faster and hassle free compared to bank transfer. You buy then you send. I use to love cash app up until they started rejecting my withdrawals for ugl sources in China. Now I use exodus and honestly it’s much better then cash app’s btc
Yeah btc is the easiest. I like litecoin too cuz of how fast the transaction sends.

Quick follow up question: I was reading this guide here (How to Send USDT | The USDT Transfer Guide) and they said there are 3 networks: Ethereum, Binance and Tron. Do I have to ask the vendor on which he is in order to transfer from my wallet? I understand your point about not transferring directly.

When people say USDT ERC20 they are meaning USDT over Ethereum. I tried beating that horse a while back but when the vendors won't specify which blockchain and assume everyone knows ERC20 is Ethereum when in fact ERC20 is a standard which is implemented on many blockchains but originated on Ethereum.

this is why i like bitcoin. No networks to get confused lol

For anybody interested, I posted the price lists on the sister GGB thread, for both vendors. I got them this afternoon, so pretty fresh. I'll get my crypto set up, you guys were very nice to explain, special thanks to Castle and Bubba here.

I appreciate you posting their US DOM lists as I had thought both had shuttered their US DOM operations after someone bought the bulk of their domestic inventories. Hopefully they will be able to restock the domestic warehouses sooner rather than later (or never.)

So my man is back AND has the US warehouse back in stock? That’d be wild, I know he’s busy as fuck but one of his reps should hop on hear

Someone posted in GGB thread that he got priceless for WWB and G both domestic. Waiting to see if that’s even true.
Cavan gave me both the CN and US price list when I placed an order a couple hours ago. He specifically said the US warehouse is open to me.

I didn't ask about inventory though as I was placing a bigger order and didn't want the higher prices of US.

I wish he would’ve relayed that to me before placing an order from China lol. Oh well
