Anyone on GLP-1's for multiple years?

I was RX'ed Mounjaro 2 years ago, and have been using various GLP-1's ever since.

tl;dr, at least in terms of appetite, they are doing fuckall for me now
I'm up to 10mg Reta + 3mg Sema and still so hungry, not losing weight anymore.

At this point I'm considering just pinning a vial of Reta E3D, may as well be sugar water...

Anyone else dealt with/overcome this?

Seems like Novo is choking hard, trying to make a peptide called Amycretin, basically Sema + Cagri. Seems very inferior to the other GLP-1’s tho seeing the efficacy of cagri.
From what I read earlier in the year, It worked too well and too quickly... so the worry is that all it (amycretin) may lack the benefits of gradual weight loss which i suspect to mean losing too much lean mass plus ending up with saggy skin, and perhaps not too much change in some blood measurements like lipids or A1c. Losing weight too quickly also somewhat forces researchers doing extra extra studies to determine acceptable maintenance dosage or at least establish guidelines towards that, or else people can lose too much and mess up their whole systems.
They also didn't entirely trust their own stats so maybe phase 2 will give better understanding.

I have.

They're not supposed to induce endless weight loss though.

Your level of GLP sets your body's weight "thermostat", ie, the homeostasis weight your biology wants to maintain. Below that weight mechanisms, physical and psychological drive you to eat. Above it, they discourage you from eating. At it, your appetite will be in line with energy requirements.

So dose is titrated up until goal weight is reached, then the dose or a slightly lower one is used for maintenance. You don't feel anything at the maintenance dose, unless you somehow manage to gain weight, then appetite suppression effects return, until you're back at the homeostasis weight.

Are you at the maximum dose but haven't reached goal weight?
Exactly. I haven’t really lost any weight on retatrutide since I didn’t have much to lose to begin with when I started it. Instead, I noticed I’m able to get away with eating more food and not put on body fat. And an A1C that got down to 4.9

A small percentage of people are genetically "GLP non-responders". This can even be accurately predicted with a commercially available genetic test.
I wonder if there is some genetic polymorphism in terms of how your body handles these compounds in that you get acclimated to them quickly and / or clear them efficiently.
I have my genome data, might go digging around and see if I can find SNP's or genosets related to GLP-1 response.

Will post here and include my genotype if I do

I assume some people are like me and just never feel full enough no matter the caloric intake, cleanness and volume of food.

I have very good discipline but the pure life changing experience of having to put the fork down cuz I’m actually full and can’t each more, is just so amazing.

365 days a year, everyday I have to plan my dinner and meal meticulously, so that I eat the most volume so I maximize the feeling of fullness. I never opt to go to fine dining and cafes because I could never be remotely full like the rest if the population. So I have to opt for the most volume for the least calories even on a bulk.
Sounds like we're the same. I've had binge-eating disorder my entire life and was overweight growing up.

For me, it's mostly sweets. My natural appetite is humongous and I almost never feel full. When I get bad hunger/cravings I will eat until I am so full that I puke sometimes.

Only after GLP-1's was I able to stop eating a meal partway through.

When I cut, I have find zero-calorie foods like jello, magic noodles, popcorn, pickles to fill my stomach up or all I can think about is eating...

I’m sure you’ve already tried it but any experience with Vyvanse for the binge eating?

Decided to swap back to 15mg Tirz / 3mg Sema starting today
Pinned 7mg + 1.5mg since I pin GLP-1's E3D

So, it does work, but I was a polysubstance drug addict for a long time and amphetamine/meth was my drug of choice. So I can't have any sort of abusable stimulant around me =/

Have been RX'ed topiramate which unfortunately didn't do much.

At least GLP-1's work and are cheap

First time I used, thought it was bunk. I was so afraid to touch it, I was like maybe I'll try 100-150mg/week, 4 weeks into tren I already broke the 300-400mg threshold. 0 sides, 0 issues with blood markers, 0 RHR increase.

However my caloric intake and physique did look different so tren did work. But I'd imagine someone else in my place would have had a very significant transformation on that dose.

I also tank my e2 on only 450mg mast on 750mg test e. Which is super weird for me. I have naturally low prolactin so now I'm forced to use tren to get my prolactin within range. It's my custom cycle support.

"The tren as cycle support was a joke, but I rly do like the fact it bring my prolactin to within the reference range"

I regards to this quote ….

So Mast E definitely lowered and tanked your actual E2 levels (numbers) ? You had bloods drawn before and after ?

You are the rare phenomenon that Mast E actually lowers E2 levels and doesn’t just mask E2 sides.

With great sadness, I do have blood with and without mast and it’s very fucking weird. Brought my e2 from above 100pg to 50pg.

Btw when it was 130pq, I wasn’t using hcg and the 50pq was with hcg. Which makes it even more remarkable.

Yes def very strange
I forgot to quote the tests
first one is high e2 without mast.
second one with stable test and mast doses:
  • Testosterone at 143.8 nmol/L = ~4148 ng/dL
  • Estradiol at 183 pmol/L = ~49.8 pg/mL
third test with same test but higher mast:

Btw I don't use an AI or any other compounds except for tren. However on these 3 blood tests, my tren ace wasn't being used. All tests were performed on Monday pre injection. I do 3 injections per week split Sat/Mon/Wed.

I also believe the third test which resulted in 25pq was due to me cycling off HCG, what scares me, out of all the tests, only the 25pq was a regular E2, the result were ultra-sensitive . So the 25pq might be an overestimation.

However I will experimenting again, adjusted my test and mast doses.
Going to re-test again without hcg and then once again with hcg

Without reading anything the thread has mentioned. I am at 30mg of Tirzepatide, 2.5mg of Semaglutide, and 2.5mg of Cagralinutide a week and can still eat (as a reference) 2 In N Out burgers with a fry, 1 Chinese Lunch Special, 2lbs of BBQ Chicken and some Quest Chips, with a large bag of kettle corn. After 5 days of injection.

The first day I couldnt eat or drink, 2nd I could drink, 3rd was 1 bowl at Chipotle , 4th was a standard Bodybuilding Diet at 2100cals.

I have obvious binge eating disorder, undiagnosed medically. I've tried every single substance regarding weightloss to appetite suppression. Including but not limited to meth, DNP, nicotine, coke, GLP's, Benzo's, SSRI's, etc. It isn't the suppression of the appetite. As someone has once said in here, I will at times eat until I am physically going to puke, crying as my stomach feels as if it gets ripped open, then 2 hours later munch on something else. I can visualize it to the same fix a junkie needs when withdrawing from Drugs, is the same feeling I get after a few hours without food. And I don't like to over exaggerate, as the headaches, sweating, and literal fiending is real at times for me, I've spent probably 10k at least on overeating this year. For the first time in my life (day 3 of that dose) I had actually stopped eating a meal I enjoyed, and was satiated for 2 hours and was happy to eat again later. It evoked the same joy that you get when you find something out as a child. I wish I could find a way for that to be a reality.

Heighest weight was 465 lowest was 201.4, sitting at 285. I'll probably just get the Gastric Sleeve, but despite everything it's all about just being disciplined with a constant ring in your ear telling you to eat, and having to weigh every single gram of food and plan for the next day everyday as well as bad habits I need to break that I have before.

Congrats on the weight loss though!

man you need to get a CGM and post the results here, for science
and how long did it take you to work up to that dose?

Holy shit, doubled the max tirz dose, maxed sema snd at 2.5mg cagri. And I thought I was a special case.
However I am interested if the effects of tirz from 15-20mg, 20-25mg and 25-30mg were that big of a difference and effective as the first 15mg.

Did you find that tirzepatide’s effects felt proportionally weaker at higher doses? I’m trying to understand whether the appetite suppression scales linearly with dose or if it follows a diminishing-returns curve, since I suspect the effect plateaus once receptor activity saturates

My opinion - if you want to lose weight, use tirz.

If you want to maintain or lean bulk - use Reta.

This works best for me.
