Anyone stocking up on QSC raws? Probably not a bad idea because I think trump is cracking down on de minimus packages by the end of the month. Just sucks that the prices of raws are close to the prices of chinese finished oils, fml. Theres also a trust thing that keeps lingering in the back of my head. What would keep QSC from doing people wrong if he doesnt plan on rebuilding the empire, which I doubt he is. Also, with these price increases, what does that mean for the people he already owes?

de minimus has been over with China for a while though I believe.

This is supposed to be in effect as of 8/29 I believe, which I suspect will significantly increase package interceptions by customs in the US.

Customs will need to justify the money. They've been busy telling us that they seize more items now. Anecdotes seems to tally with a slight uptick in seizures, but that me just be because I am in more servers listening in.

Well even without increased packages being intercepted and strictly speaking from an economic perspective, China has clearly been cracking down on AAS raw production because otherwise there would be more in circulation right now. With the decrease in supply and an increase in demand, prices will inevitably increase. I just dont know how long there will be a shortage and if it justifies buying raws when the costs of brewing them is almost the same costs of buying finished oils. On top of that, theres the increased risk and trust issues with the source. I would be very surprised if QSC is back for good and think they are just offloading their stock from their warehouses. And US domestic packages shouldnt take weeks to be delivered, which also has me hesitant to buy from them. I just have FOMO right now and dont want to regret buying raws

True. But the government moves slowly, so full enforcement will take time. Could be years. They just revived funding for thousands more personal. It's not a switch. No one should be lulled into a false sense of security that because packs can still get through that the strictest enforcement is in place.
Package volume dropping 85% alone makes it much easier to monitor and inspect. Since it was the huge volume of packs that let contraband slip through, the reduction in volume was by design as a step to getting a handle on what was coming in.
