First cyp400 inj a few hours ago. 1cc medial delt 1cc ventro. No pip

Got a little ahead of myself actually, right glute is a bit fiery now 24 hours later. Nothing terrible - 4/10 on the PIP scale but unsure because the pain

I genuinely take back everything I said about the minimal PIP. I have a big red swollen knot in my ass now the size of a gold ball. Hurts like fuck.

I've never used cyp at a concentration that high before. I think my ass can only tolerate cyp200. This 400 is rough.

72 hours later and my ass just keeps getting more swollen.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Edit: the swelling is no longer a uniform lump it's like stretching out in a line and migrating to my hip. Am I cooked?

PSA to anyone who kept up with my recents posts in this thread.

My glute has only gotten worse and I haven't been able to walk in 2 days because the pain is fucking unbearable.

Tomorrow I will be going to the doctor where they will be slicing open an abscess in my glute the size of a fucking mango and squeezing out all the yum yum juice. This is the route my doctor recommended to make sure that the abscess (believed to be sterile) doesn't become infected and spread.

Please note that this probably doesn't have anything to do with the gear itself - and more to do with a super shallow pin of high concentration gear (Which I've never used before).

Please think twice before using high concentration gear if you haven't before, and go up .5in on the needle size to make sure you're getting nice and deep into the tissue.

You've been warned.

Man, just reading that makes my glutes clench out of sympathy. I don’t think high‑concentration gear alone would cause an abscess that big - sounds more like a perfect storm of shallow pin, maybe less‑than‑fresh needle, and some accidental home‑lab “antiseptic shortcuts.” What size pins are you using? I’m not a big guy, and I still use 1.5‑inch needles for both quads and glutes to make sure it’s buried deep where it belongs.

Fingers crossed for you, man - hope the doc gets you patched up fast. I’ll admit, stuff like this always makes me side‑eye the gear, even if the prep was the real culprit. For what it’s worth, I just pinned 250 mg of Primal Test C in my quad yesterday, smooth as butter, zero issues, but I treat every shot like a little medical ritual: everything prepped, cleaned, and done slow.

Yeah no it was definitely just the perfect storm. 3ml syringe with 25g 1in pin to draw, swap for 27g 0.5in to inj. Always alc swab ass cheek and surface of rubber stopper before inj. But being that this was a new vial I cracked open, I didn't swab the stopper.

I think the culprit honeslty was the shallow pin and thicker gear...I've always had pretty lean glutes, so 0.5in have always worked great for me. But as of recently I've added some body fat.

Appreciate it. If I post the photos it'll be in a seperate thread, I don't think primal would appreciate that lol.

No fever, no chills. The abscess is not very hot to the touch, just very large and painful. Legitimately feels like a mango just chilling in between the fat and muscle, the skin in that area shows visible marks from being stretched so hard.

Even pinning 3g of gear per week...

3g per week ÷ 7 days = 429 mg/day

429 mg/day + 250 mg/ml = 1.7 ml per day.

Thats two 0.85 ml shots per day with an insulin pin. Use a new one for each pin

What am I missing? Why use the high concentration stuff? Even with 400 mg/ml that is still a 1.07 ml pin per day.

Procedure is pretty stand. I go into my office, which is basically the cleanest room in my house. Get my stuff of am airtight plastic sterilite bin (Those big yellow and black ones). Swab stopper w alc, swab cheek/delt with alc. Draw with 25g 1in, inj with 27g 0.5in. Both ventro and delt I do seated on my office chair.

Inject regular concentration gear and filter with 0.2 um (gear condom). I like to filter first then try again without filter. That way you have useful data should you run into an issue. Hypothesis testing+!

.5 in VG is most slightly going to be subq, where else .5 in delts can be IM if lean enough. I'm curious whats needed for IM in pecs/lats tho. I switched from 1/2 to 5/8 when i started pinning higher concentration stuff.
