Reinjured my foot... Seriously cannot believe it.

So was doing rather heavy squats last night in the garage and I thought I heard a quiet pop and then my foot hurt. Just got back from my Doc and yes I fractured the foot that was broke.

Mentally trying to deal right now with the information. Cannot even imagine being shut down for 2 to 3 months. They are saying surgery next Thursday. They will take out the screw, pack the bone with bone fragments from my heel and then reinsert a screw. Below picks on the new injury. Seriously feeling a bit down. Appreciate everyone here and all the support I have had and continue to get.

Oh man I'm sorry to hear that years ago I broke 3 bones in my foot exactly where the tip or ur screw is and tore ligaments in my ancle , lucky no surgery but after the cast my leg was so atrophied I basically had to learn to walk again. But more recent I tore something in my shoulder heavy benching about a year ago nearing the end of a cycle, I was so pissed and stressed . I knew I was fucked and bailed on my cycle cold turkey, got so depressed i basically became a alcoholic.. But these things do happen I wish I would have just dropped down to a trt dose. And focused on my legs for months while I healed my upper body. It's not the end of the world I hope u have a speedy recovery. Look into taking growth or some healing peptide.

Literally just popped. Went down heard it and then felt like I was standing on a small match. Gutted right now.

@Millard thank you. Really do appreciate not only the board but your kindness too.

Hopefully I will spend a little more time writing and being active. Sounds like I will be none standing for 6 weeks and then get going again. This time they are getting me a bone stimulator.

So for those following at home, next Thursday they will replace my current screw with a new one while also transferring some of the bone from my heal to in between the crack. I will stay on my TRT and add in some HGH. No peptides this time, The bone stimulator really speeds up the process from all I am being told.

Bone Stimulator
For those that wish to read about the technology.

Ouch sorry this happened again and was it fully healed when you started up heavy training? Broken foot bones don't seem to ever get strong again IMO.

Yes was fully healed and even doing cardio. With the second break they now know I most likely have poor blood flow to the area, hence the bone stimulator.

Yes. 2 Jansen (J&J) doses. Fully vaccinated. Not eligible for mRNA shots as while I have not had heart issues my Doctor felt we should not take a chance. Being on PEDs means I include my Doctor in most of the choices I face.

Ok, that might be your problem then. The injections cause multiple problems with bone......all types of the injections, J&J or mRNA. I don't have any advice for you other than your new reality is probably going to be bone weakness, unless somehow over time, the effects of the injections somehow fizzle out, but I'm not seeing any evidence of that yet in the literature.

Primarily, we are seeing this most easily in the jaw bone, with resulting tooth loss. Bones in the feet are easy targets because of their size.

Thank you for your concern @Inspired. I can honestly say I am taking this rather seriously. Hopefully my treatment plan and recovery will go well.

Currently take a normal mens vitamin. On top of that I am taking:
Pure - OsteoBalance - Vit D and Calcium
I eat insane amounts of yogurt daily.

Do you have any suggestions for Vitamin Supplements?

Absolutely. Can you buy Borax powder? I would take atleast 12-20mg boron from borax salts, daily. You could take more than that. Boron makes bones HARD.

Can you drink milk? Milk has a good calcium to phosphorus ratio, which bone needs. But there are supplements you can take also. For example, NOW sells calcium hydroxyapatite, which is the right kind of calcium for bones.

I'd take vitamin K2, MK7 and MK4 versions, take with fat. These stimulate bone growth and also redirect the calcium you ingest, into your bones.

I'd also take a magnesium supplement, preferably atleast 400mg daily of anything but magnesium oxide. You can take more magnesium that that, but you have to see how you feel on it and if you end up with diarrhea.

I'd also consider taking daily doxycyclin 100mg, because it has impressive effects during bone remodeling and repair, and it may also get rid of infection in the bone, which you probably have because you clearly had a hardware failure.

I'd also try and eat collagen, gelatin etc. You can get powered collagen and put it in a shaker cup and drink it that way. I'd take extra vitamin C, atleast 500mg, but preferably over 2,000mg daily, or as much as you can handle.

I'll see what else I can think of, but all of the above are worth doing, in my opinion.

@Inspired my words will fail to even come close to all this means to me. I will research each item and attempt to work it into my recovery.

Thank you!!!

Sounds similar to what happened to me twice over
2-3 years. Come to find out mine was caused from taking too much arimidex on blast to lower E2. Those AIs weaken bones and allow small ones like phalanges to break very easily.

Once I figured out my foot bones were breaking due to AIs I quit using them routinely and started using more DHT based gear that doesn’t aromatize. Had not broken any bones prior to that nor since then.

Sorry about the injury, man. Hope you heal quickly and can get back to training. Down time sucks but a part of life.

Second surgery is now complete. Back home and resting now. Feels good and in about 12 days should have an idea of how this is going. For now, rest and stay off my foot completely.

This time they used a product to promote new bone growth. It is called Infused. A link for those that find medical advancement interesting.

Infuse Bone Graft Proteins

Will continue to update and really do appreciate kind words and advice.

@Inspired Thank you for all your suggestions. My surgeon loved all the products you suggested and even wrote a script for one of them. Seriously immensely grateful.
