Everyone please beware of Colonial gear.

I think he publicly addressed the first time it was brought up on SST and said he changed the material in his filters to prevent the filter strands from breaking through. Something along the lines.. I've only ordered from him since after that and I inspect my vials and haven't hit any issues yet.

@OP are these older batch vials or newer batch?

The very first floater found in primo gso was batch c105
The batch of NPP GSO that had floaters was c105
The batch of NPP MCT that had floaters was c110
I can check the test E batch# when I get home.

Thanks. I’m sitting on some C138+ for all my vials.

Hi guys,

Firstly, I apologize to the original poster for having to go through this ordeal. If I was in his shoes, I would do the same thing to help the community.

To address the issue at hand, we initially changed the material of our filters and also added a whole new layer of filters when a couple people including the original poster here initially pointed out the problem to us via email. When we did this, we didn’t trash the older vials, but did inspect them individually. Apparently this wasn’t enough because this order by the original poster was more recent. The older batches range from C100-C117. We made the change on filters after these batches were brewed and filtered already.

There are a few compounds which still have vials from the older batches. We will trash these vials instead of again reinspecting them. We have not encountered any issues in the subsequent batches however.

I apologize for the trouble this has caused, and I am glad clients do post this because it helps us to improve, as a source. If we lose loyal customers over this, I completely understand. We will only use this to improve.

Thank you

Just found a floater in the only vial of Test E I had laying around not Sure which order it came out of batch number is unreadable looks like printer cut out as it went through the batch (I can post if you really need to see). The flip top is Blue I know that don’t usually matter but some of my orders have been blue flip tops some have been black so might tell when it was made

I don't have any older vials left, but I have ones from recent order. The lowest batch number is C121. I went through 12 vials. 8 Test, 2 Tren-Ace, 2 NPP. I didn't see any floaters in mine.

I think someone pointed it out way back in September. But nobody paid attention to it then.
Thanks! Yeah I ordered from Colonial in like Dec or Jan, can't remember exactly/don't feel like checking. All was good, got a great 9.3x response to the test. No complaints here...it would really suck if Colonial went downhill like that, they were (are) one of my favorites.

I ALWAYS check for floaters extremely closely anyway anyway, hopefully my next order is nice and clear like usual.

This is all great now but why didn’t you announce it to the community back when you KNEW you had this issue?

You could have posted a simple “hey, it’s been brought to our attention so please check your vials and if you’re affected we’ll gladly replace. Again our apologies.”

But instead you hid it and only handled it behind the scenes. How many guys injected your dirty gear?

You chose greed over safety. And you’ll do it again and again.

Also could you address the Dragon Ordanance situation. Are you his domestic brewer?

If a customer finds floaters, you should be freaking out, taking it serious and making a fresh NEW batch AND inspect it and send that.

"Inspecting" previous batches and sending that is also a sign of greed. Just like @BigBaldBeardGuy pointed out. And not just once but three times? Come on man.

Does he not understand the possible consequences of injecting a floater?
This isn't a game. This is people's health.

This source should be done in my opinion. Anyone ordering at this point derelicts their own health.

He’s an SST source. They don’t have the same standards there. They’re just happy they receive something and get to post giddy “this guy is solid. Definitely g2g” posts so they feel knowledgeable.

There is absolutely no mention of this in their source thread cause someone would get banned for posting there. They have a separate “source complaints” thread to hide all this “drama”. Most customers would be totally oblivious to this problem.

MESO would burn him if he sources here. This is the opposite of source transparency.

Hey,

Yes I did publicly address it on my SST thread. If you look through my thread you’ll see my public statement about it.

If I was a source on this forum, I would address it here too, if that’s what you’re referring to.

I’m not here for greed.. I do my best to take care of all my customers.

Hey there,

It most definitely is in my thread.. There isn’t a whole separate thread about it if that’s what you mean.

Pardon my ignorance, but what are floaters? Are they undissolved solids in the oil? If so, why wasn't this caught in the filter? Does it mean that he didn't filter his gear?

Foreign particles. Could be dust because vials sit open. Or the “lab” isn’t clean. In this case the UGL is claiming filter particles.

Because it’s likely bacteria-free and BA is a preservative, it won’t cause an infection but it’s still foreign junk injected into your body.

There’s no excuse for this. Aside from sending out totally unfiltered gear it’s the worst thing a lab can do. I’d rather get bunk gear than gear with floaters. You’re paying for a “professional” to ensure this doesn’t happen.

Damn. I've got quite a bit of colonial I will double check mine later and make sure but I always check them when they arrive and haven't noticed a floater before but thanks for bringing this up. He's been good for me so far so I hate hearing @justanohad such a bad experience
