Men’s Physique IFBB pro card?

Whats up everyone. Im looking into doing a show in 2021 for a men’s physique pro card. I’m 5’10 around 210 @ 18% bf so I have a lot of work to do.
My question is how big are these guys in the amature shows that are getting pro cards? I know the size for men’s physique is getting bigger and bigger. What should my goal weight and percent be? Am I screwing myself by doing legs?

Most male bikini pros are 6-8%is bf I’d guess

Can you explain the logic behind your asking if you're screwing yourself by doing legs?

If you are talking abt mens physique and not "classic physique" they're small as hell!!

Anything over 175 lbs and you look out of place and stand out like a sore thumb. Throw a shirt on and good luck looking like you even lift, and I'm not joking with you. They're small.

really? The dudes from 2018 Olympia looked like 2015 classic physique.

The 2019 men's physique Olympia, Raymont,
was 230 at 6'2. @Demondosage you gotta check back into that division it's not what it used to be.
Guys who were 165-175 back in the day are all almost floating around 210 now off-season, 190+ on stage.

If you have the genetic shape you can probably earn your pro card at 5'10 around 180-185 @ 5-6% bodyfat. But to be competitive in the pro ranks you'll need about 190-197 lbs at your height around 4-5% bodyfat.

You know you cannot just show up at a show that gives out pro cards, right? You have to compete and win and work your way up to a show that is a pro qualifier.

So . . . adjust your thinking. One step at a time.

You need to win a local NPC show as a first step.

But step one should be cutting that body fat percentage at least in half.

And working your legs is not a liability for men's physique. I am not even sure where you would have gotten such a strange idea.

So look up on NPC contest results a show near you from last year and see what the guy who won last year looked like, and then figure out how much work you would have to do to be that good or better, and get to it.

You obviously know nothing about diet (no, you don't, please don't protest), so consider learning about diet and how it contributes to your goal (because it is crucial to your success).

Here is a link to a pic of a guy who won his pro card in 2020 in men's physique (3rd pic down from the top). https://arnoldamateur.com/results-2020/

about a year ago I placed 2nd in an NPC qualifier before I tore my shoulder. 195 @ 7% dexa

That gives me a lot more encouragement than your previous posts in this thread . . . so you already know what you are in for in the early stages.

To figure out what the judges are rewarding to turn pro nowadays, look at the winners who got pro cards. I linked one for you.

thanks. I was also an NGA pro for two years prior to jumping on aas. I’m not inexperienced. I just don’t know what judges are looking for in that next step

I'll admit, maybe I'm behind times then. The way it was a few years ago is there was a huge gap between the pro guys and the ameaturs in terms of size. Which I thought was fucked up, because judging was absolutely all over the map.

Do you have pictures around that time you care to share? You obviously know what they're looking for and what to do. You're quite close at this point.

i was in the corps and I have a ton of easily identifiable tattoos unfortunately. My name/units/daughters name ect/mos so it’s hard for me to get a pic without blacking out my whole body

But post injury now I’m pretty far. I’m not big enough and I’m too fat right now. I’m just trying to find the difference between my NPC second place body and what I need for a pro card
