Is the higher fat even good for you? I was told to do 93/7 on the ground beef and turkey.

When you’re eating on a budget 70/30 ground beef is better than anything in powdered form. Animal fat isn’t bad at all. It’s the bullshit Trans-fats that agrobizness introduced (cause it’s cheap and has a long shelf life) and tried to use it to save us. 15-20 years after and it’s the trans-fat that is completely unhealthy and useless to us. When I was a kid McDs still cooked their fries in lard. Fucking tasted so good. No one was fat. Now it’s veg oil and look at the fat asses waddling into that place.

That’s what I was trying to get at. I also see a lot of people getting hung up on labeling fats into “healthy” and “bad”
 
To the ole man, diet plays an important role in the regulation of your blood pressure as well. If your diet is shit than that can contribute to your bad blood pressure as well. Not trying to pick on you but if you are eating fast food everyday you might want to re evaluate what you are consuming.

Like others have said ground beef and rice is a great option to get in extra calories and is real food. Flank steak, ground chicken, chicken thighs(buy in bulk at Costco or BJ’s is pretty cheap), ground turkey, Greek yogurt, etc. a lot of options.
Well damn. All I cared about was CHEAP protein.
This isn’t my first rodeo.
I ate as good as anybody on here before I was having to be responsible for a woman and a baby.
I’m trying to learn how to get the most out of my money!

Hell eating 5 pound of crockpot pulled chicken as we speak.
Maybe I didn’t make myself clear.
I’m looking for cheap alternative sources of protein.
And thanks that I finally got 1. 70/30 ground beef.
That right there was all I needed. I just make the fats fit my macros.
Macros for a bulk with the gear I’m using, would this be right?

Like I said my man. I’m not picking on you just giving you my input. If you want to make your money stretch, like I mentioned earlier, buy your meats in bulk at a wholesaler like Costco, bj’s, sams club. Buy some freezer bags, separate it and freeze them for the next couple of weeks. You can also buy bulk bags of rice there too. It will definitely make your money go much further.
 
I’m 5’5 and weighed 130 pounds in high school. Got up to a 150 with a pit belly and sciatica so bad I couldn’t walk a block. Said surgery was the only option because a car wreck shoved my vertebra forward in what’s called Spondylethosis (sp)That was 2015.
I don’t got no pictures of that fat dude from back then. But I know this. I’m not supposed to be here on this site. I’m supposed to be collecting disability.

I’m suffering a little bit of pain down my left leg as I type this. It never goes away but i have fought that pain down from a 9 to a 3. I dropped taking Vicodin cold turkey. There is 150 of them sitting in my dresser.

What’s my point? We never know what brings someone to where there at today. We don’t know the fight or war that goes on inside someone else.

I’m here on this site fighting to stay as mobile as I can. So that I can enjoy my life the way I like too. I’m not a fucking quitter. I’m amazed at where and how far I’ve come. I don’t compare myself against nobody but the guy I was yesterday.
I was 20+ bf with sciatica when I joined this site and now I’m 10-12 bf and can work all fucking day.

Now you know why I do what I do.
 
Systolic is still in the prehypertension range. Not by very much, but i feel like splitting hairs today. :D

Definitely a huge improvement from the numbers he posted previously though.
Yes was 175/123.
But I just got an injection in my back 5 mins prior. When the inject that fluid in there and it pushes on your inflamed nerve you know it! Mater fact my leg kicked out and I had no control over it.

I actually don’t listen to bob marley. There is a back story to that picture and a family member who is dead. I will just leave it at that.
