Truer words have never been spoken. It astounding the amount of gear sone of these novices are running smh. Whatever happened to less is more. I can do great jus off a 750mg Test run. You dont need a ton of gear to make changes. All you need is time. Alot of younger guys don't wana wait but in order to get that real good muscle muturity look going on, its gunna take years of punishment to achieve that look. Im nowhere near that yet. Maybe another Decade of hittin it will make my shit pop. @Oregongearhead comes to mind first when i think of muscle maturity. His physic was not made in a few crazy ass dosed cycles but rather years upon years of smart training, dieting, an very low dosed supplementation. Hes been my idol for years an will always be like a dad to me aroun here :)

Another truly inspirational member who is a veteran in this game, and has achieved amazing results over the years, and still looks better than most of us despite being in his sixth decade on this planet, is my man @ironwill1951 !!! That guy is a freak of nature physically speaking, and a truly truly good man as well.

I do know my show I went High it was the most I’ve done. Normally I’m 750 test 400 npp. I don’t run two compounds off season. I don’t run orals off season. For 8 weeks I do go a little High. But normally blast 8-10 weeks then back to .75-1 cc a week
Of test for 6-8 weeks but I’ve never gone over 750 test or 400 npp and this is my 4th year running gear. I’ve tried decca, eq but I know for me some test and npp and I’m good

Calves are finally healed from this time off.. had a little trouble walking on sand but drinking fixed that temporarily.. landed dock this morning about 6am.. now they feel completely healed.. then do this calf routine all over Monday
 
So figured I’d give an update about the mess before my show with my ex. Didn’t post cause was so busy and trying to get back into the grind and forget about it all. So the day before my show. I call and say what’s up with this baby. When is the doc appt. she says I think I’m getting abortion now. It’s not fair to her son she has now, this and that. Well she had one before when we were together not my choice I flipped out! This is the day before my fucking show. She calls back 10 min later and says I’m not pregnant. I just didn’t want you to leave me. I said you are fucked up. She told me I’m she was so sorry took me for granted blah blah blah and would do anything to get me back. Such a joke. I like most figured she wasn’t prego but thought I’d tell the end of that situation. Anything to fuck with my shows and working out.

I have been making this very point around here for the better part of the last 5 years.

Not to be a dick, but I cringe when I see the dosages some of our members run, when they are not earning a living/income off of bodybuilding.

I sometimes make the comment "you should tell us which compounds you are NOT running, it would be a shorter list". Or I'll ask "just curious, after looking at your cycle, what are your goals from running all of this?".

I respect every person's right to run what they want to run, but dang, I see guys pushing cycles like "test, tren, mast, EQ, superdrol, winny and injectable adrol - gonna throw in some anavar the last 4 weeks of my cycle".

And then the kicker - it is their 4 cycle... insane!

But hey, they'll be the most jacked dude at their YMCA with the highest cholesterol level and the worst lipid profile and a $1,000 a month steroid habit.

Okay, I'll stop being a dick now. To each his own I suppose.

Yea I can respect the few on here that run insane doses but actually get everything else right along with it. Health check ups, diet, training etc... It's the ones that run these cycles with shit training and diet that pack in 20lbs of bs water looking like the fucking Michelin man that think they look good is what annoys me. I think to myself God damn you could've gotten THAT look on dbol alone with hardly any training lol! I don't say anything though or try to criticize cause fuck most all of us were there at one point or another lol. You learn as you go.

Then about 4-5 years I was working out and a lady at the gym said you have good genetics want to meet my husband he’s a bodybuilder. He’s in his 50s he competes and keeps missing his pro card in masters each year in light heavy. Biggest guy I ever met at the time. I was very intimated. That’s when it all started, he taught me gear, good and bad, he taught me training tips I didn’t know what negatives were or drop sets. I knew nothing I thought protein shakes made you big lol. He did this all for free for about 2 years until when we separate ways he moved and the gym was too far. So since then I’ve just taken all he’s taught me, stuff I read on here and other fitness sites and keep working. I really don’t know much. I’m just very hard on myself and like to Challenge myself.
Oh and don’t laugh at the tat I Use to think I was this good basketball player then I realized I’m short and white ha. Don’t worry it’s covered

Your log could consist of what the old body builder taught you. I’d be interested.

So a solid workout log would be cool to me. People could mimic your log and make a good transformation much like you did with the knowledge you gained. Would be a huge contribution to the community.

After seeing the before pictures of you I can now confirm that we do have a similar build and had a very similar base to start with. Your story is similar to mine as well.

I'd be interested in your training routine and how it changes throughout the year to achieve different results.

Also, a rough breakdown of diet and how it changes as well. Just something to think about but I honestly think YOU'D enjoy it as well. Something that will help hold you responsible and will also motivate others.
