Ok, i started thinking about my lift yesterday bc I actually had it to my knees and just couldn’t get it. I actually had 565 on it. The lift before I did 470. I threw the 25lbs plates to the side after, put another 45lbs on each side and put the 25lbs plates back on with 10lbs plates. I can’t count. I thought that was 525. It had to be the hot chick that was beside me working out. She has a ass on her that won’t quit lol
 
Squats today. Was suppose to squat 405 2x5 but only hit 4 on each set. I feel great to but for some reason couldn’t do it. I did overload my weight to 550 and walked out and just stood for 5-10sec then racked it. Damn it felt heavy as fuck. I did 3x5 315 after I did 3 sets of those and it felt light as shit
 
Fuck me. Idk if I’m losing weight to fast. I don’t think so bc I’m only down to 228 from 235 and it’s taken me a month to do it. But my bench sucked today. I felt strong until I got to 315 and failed on reps 4-5. I didn’t have a spot, so I didn’t try. I might have been able to do them but didn’t press my luck. Idk maybe today wasn’t my day. My protein intake is about 250mg a day and I’m around 2700 calories a day. I’m also not eating before I workout. That might have something to do with it.
 
Overhead push press day. Might as well stop calling it overhead press bc it’s more of a push press lol. I hit 2x5 195. I use my belt at high weights to help stabilize my core, and I actually fit into the 3rd notch for the first time this year lol.
 
Didn’t update Friday but I deadlifted and hit 2x5 470.

Squatted today, was really happy with my lifts. I hit 1x3 425. My form was on point, depth was good, breathing was excellent. My weight is staying around 230 but I’m dropping inches bc my weight belt fits better and so do my cloths. You can start to see my abs again, at least the top ones lol.
 
Great bench day. 1x3 330. Last rep started getting away from me tho, glad I had a spot. I started pressing up and towards my feet instead of up n back. Felt strong today. Weighted in at 227. Don’t care about my weight, just want that look good summer look even tho it snowed where I’m at yesterday lol.

Slept in. Was tired as shit. They fired one of the other supervisors a couple weeks ago and put me in charge of his department also, which I know nothing about. So I’ve been busting my ass trying to figure out this other dept bc the machines are different and run different product than my dept. They let me know I’ll be permanently in charge of both bc they have faith in me and I’ve been doing a great job so far but man is it a lot of work. I’m asking for a raise as soon as I feel I’ve proved myself to them bc I deserve it. The other supervisor they fired was making $5 an hour more than me and I have more seniority than him. Crazy
 
Squatted today, 1x1 450. I’m pretty happy with it bc this time it was a legit squat. I think last year when I tried 450 and up I never got low enough. No problem this time.

For some reason lately I keep thinking I’m going to hurt myself lifting. I don’t know why, and I hate thinking about it. I’ve also had thoughts that ima die soon. Been happening since late last year, I think it’s bc I’m getting older and I don’t have my finances in order and I’m freaked out if something happens to me, my wife will be in bad shape. She relies on me for everything. I keep thinking about getting Aflac supplemental ins for accidents. I have life ins thru work but I was recently denied more.
 
Well I benched today. Was suppose to hit 1x1 350 but didn’t have a spot and wasn’t trying it on my own. I’m 100% positive I could have lifted it. I ended up benching 3x3 315 and 1x3 325. I’m going to call it a win even tho I didn’t actually lift it and up my weight for next mini cycle.
 
Off day so I slept in an hour and went to the gym lol. If I don’t go to the gym and at least do something everyday of the week, it throws my day off. I don’t go a lot on the weekends but I have to make it M-F.
Did light legs n cardio. Did 6x10 of super super super wide box squats. Only did 225 but I feel it, going that wide is something else. Also did leg press n calf raises n cardio. I’m sitting at 225 right now and feel good.
 
Overhead push press day. 1x1 215. Went up nice n easy. I was going to try 225 but I’ll wait until next mini cycle. I’m kinda kicking myself in the ass for not trying tho. I’ve hit 225 before. Gotta be at work early for next week so ima have to hurry workouts up or cut em short. I’m not waking up any earlier than I already do. Fuck that lol
