Walmart brands

I know they suck but hey I'm a cheap fuck and don't like to order shit online so shoot me.

Out of all the PROTEIN brands that walmart has sitting on the shelves what would y'all consider to be the better of the bad?

Im guessing you mean protein powder brands? This might be old news but I heard the walmart brand is being sued along with some other ones for not matching label claims. Less then 1/2 the protein from the label claim. So, i dont think its even worth being cheap. I never go to walmart for supplements at all so i couldnt tell you. In high school i used the 5 star or that similar brand that i cant think of.

Yeah thanks Newera but I do tend to stay on the run and don't always have the luxury of a normal meal. And with liver complications it's hard to choke down large amount of solid good at times.

Any input on the actual question?

from their website it looks like they have muscle fortress, EAS, MuscleTech, and Met-rx products....I used the Met-Rx meal replacements back in the day, they were solid for what it's worth. Chocolate Met-rx, 1% milk, frozen bananas and ice was my go to in high school football. Back in the good ol' days when you could buy Andro over the counter @ GNC

looks like the body fortress tested alright for the value:
https://labdoor.com/review/body-fortress-super-advanced-whey-isolate

edit: oh wait....
Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Isolate recorded 73.5g of bound protein per 100g of product and totaled 26.4g of protein per serving.

I used Body Fortress for a long time. I made gains. Would they have been better with a better quality protein? Probably.

Optimum Nutrition works out to be about the same price per gram and shipping is free, so I doubt I ever get protein at Wal-Mart again.

74 servings of 24 grams for $60 shipped versus 21 servings of 30 grams (possibly only 50% of that number) bought at Wal-Mart. Almost identical price really.

I take protein bars with me when I'm really busy. I wait until Costco has a sale on Pure Protein. It's whey, and not soy like almost all bars.
On sale it is $12 for a box of 18. I buy 10 boxes.

Damn! That hella deal. How many grams of protein in each? Im gonna have to jump on that.

Thanks. Its one more thing i can have when life hits ya hard and your on the run. Helps when you can have something in between one of your meals that your gonna be late on eating.

Theres better options out there. A lot of great sites are around that have deals all the time and you can get really good prices. Aside from that, the proteins you'll find at walmart are cheap b/c the companies spike them with amino acids. You aint gettin the same protein as advertised on the label.

You speak the truth my friend. If you have an LLC you can order from Himar and then your getting good protein for dirt cheap. They only sell by 44lbs bags or 1000lbs tote. Whey concentrate 80g per 100g net wet of powder, whey isolate 90g+.

Yup got it, better options kinda knew that one. I asked out of the brands, that I can have in my hands in less than 30 minutes, from walmart since I just absolute hate ordering online.

I dont get it. You would knowingly purchase an inferior product that doesnt have anywhere near the true protein content on the label all because you dont like ordering online?

I am cursed when it come to online ordering. I'd put it at 80% of the time there is a major discrepancy with what I ordered. Delivered to the wrong house, wrong product completely, wrong version of product, product never delivered. And there are times money is tight or time I short and it would help to have something in the cabinet. I cannot understand why the question I asked was so hard for some people to comprehend. If you don't have a direct answer pertaining to the question why answer?
